For your convenience, our plan rates include everything: menu planning, grocery shopping, food preparation, and serving. Our chefs source for the finest ingredients, they cook in your kitchen, style your breakfast or lunch and they clean up before leaving.

Kimolar Foods is a chef and catering company made up of culinary professionals who provide in-home culinary services, trainings and consultations. We are not practicing nutritionists or registered dietitians, although we work closely with them.
We prepare nutrient-dense, wholesome, and honest dishes for our clients. However, we are not licensed to provide nutritional guidance or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. For any health concerns, please contact your physician or health-care professional. It is recommended that you speak to your doctor prior to beginning any new dietary changes.
CONSULTATION The first step when hiring a chef or cook from Kimolar foods is to choose a date for consultation and process your commitment/consultation fee. Your payment enables us to prioritise your request and have our representatives (chef/cook) available for when you need them. ​ Office Consultation Here, we will schedule your meeting with the chef-consultant at our office in Guzape, Abuja on your selected preferred date in the form submitted. Upon submitting the form, a representative will give you a call or chat you up to process your booking and confirm payment of 10,000 (ten thousand naira) for your consultation. After which our chef representatives will be booked and sent to you for a cooking test based on availability and suitability to your personal / family preference at a later date usually within a week or later as per your request. Terms of service /contract form will be signed by you as well, and a copy left with you. In-Home Consultation Here, a non-refundable in-home consultation charge of 30.000 (thirty thousand naira) commitment fee of which 50% is all inclusive in the total chef/cook hire fee, is required to have us book at least 2 available representatives for you to make your selection and also schedule a cooking test (optional). On your chosen date of consultation, a representative will be available at your home to consult with you about your choice of cuisine and take note of what to avoid/dislikes of each member of the family. The Kitchen and appliances available (e.g., oven) will be checked as well to help us come up with a suitable menu and access the general work condition of the kitchen. Terms of service /contract form will be signed by you as well, and a copy left with you. This commitment fee is used one-time within your scheduled date for resumption upon consultation and it becomes an exclusive fee when changes to scheduled dates occur. Online consultation Here, a virtual consultation will be scheduled and a picture or video of your Kitchen will be required to access the workspace and equipment available. An exclusive consultation/commitment fee of 5.000 (five thousand naira) paid, before the commencement of service; One or two chef/cook candidate(s) is sent to you on your chosen date for cooking test (optional & not applicable to a one-time/per day service), after which a full copy of our terms of service is emailed to you. This should be signed, scanned and emailed back to kimolarfoods@gmail.com before the assigned chef / private cook's resumption (monthly service only).
CHEF FOR HIRE (MONTHLY FEE) The rates below are for professionally trained chefs. We have two categories of chefs for your service ; Those who have trained in top culinary schools like Red dish, Abuja culinary school, Hospitality business school, International Centre for Culinary Arts Dubai, to name a few a.k.a Senior private chefs, and those who have trained and also worked their way up for decades to master their craft in top hotels and food establishments (like The Hilton, The KIZA, Fraser suites, Enish, 805 etc.) all within and outside Nigeria a.k.a Professional/Master Chefs. Our Professional Chefs provide you with well plated continental, local, dessert and gourmet meals in the comfort of your home while prioritising food safety & your privacy.

HOME COOKS (JUNIOR CHEFS)
COOK FOR HIRE (MONTHLY FEE) For services with reduced fee, below are the rates for our team of talented/trained home cooks. Our cooks are skilled and well trained by certified chefs to provide you with delicious Nigerian delicacies from the Western, Southern or Eastern part of the country. Prices may be slightly higher depending on location/proximity to the assigned/available cook.

LIVE-IN REPRESENTATIVES For hybrid requests such as live-in chef/cook, we understand that our representatives will occasionally have to cook for more people than initially arranged (family of 2-15 service rates above) by factoring in guests and additional family members/friends who visit, and as such would be offering more of their time in service. However, it is agreed and understood that this extra hours and service will be covered and paid for through; (i) Provision of a suitable accommodation (private room/BQ/staff qtrs) and (ii) Provision of at least 2 meals daily to the chef/cook. All full time live-in cooks/chefs have a fixed one day off work per week (i.e work is 6days a week). Kindly note that Kimolar foods live-in representatives are strictly hired for kitchen duties to relieve you of the stress of cooking and save you time by being readily available to provide catering service, this includes; menu planning, grocery shopping, food preparation, serving meals, storing foods, washing of dishes & cleaning the kitchen & dining area ONLY with no inclusions whatsoever of maid duties such as; general house chores, laundry or any other extracurricular errands outside of the food service. Our Chefs/cooks reserves the right to decline such requests/orders outside of the chef duties/service for which they are hired for.
For special events like birthdays, weddings, or festive parties, we welcome you to contact us for professional catering services. Existing clients enjoy discounted rates. Please note that your assigned Chef/Cook reserve the right to decline catering requests like these which are outside their designated duties.
DAILY SERVICE FOOD BOWLS
For a one-time home catering to maximum of 15 to 30 guests, service rate is N200,000 for the Chef & 2 Kitchen Assistants.
Our daily rates below are charged for meal preparations of 3 varieties or a one-time breakfast, lunch & dinner, to include everything grocery shopping (optional), meal prep, cooking, storage and cleaning up the kitchen.

Depending on location, extra charges may occur for logistics.

For your safety, please inform us in advance of the booking and menu planning, if you have any dietary requirements, are pregnant, have diabetes, epilepsy or allergic to anything, or if you think there is something else that the chef or assigned cook should be aware of.
